(More customer reviews)I use my 2 TB Time Capsule for a wireless router and for wireless backups from my Mac mini.
As a router, it's pretty reliable. I do have problems connecting to it using my iPhone 3GS. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. When it works, there are times it will stop working seemingly for no reason. Frustrating. Otherwise, my MacBook and Mac mini both connect every time and the connection is very reliable.
The Time Machine feature for backups works very well. It's nice to not have to think about backups. It just works, backs up everything, and I don't have to worry about it.
The problem with the wireless backup system is that it's *extremely* slow, and it interferes with my use of my Internet connection. It would be nice if it would throttle the backups when I'm using my connection so that it doesn't interfere. Or maybe it should only do backups when the computer is idle. And I'm not talking about the initial backup of my whole system...I'm referring to the incremental daily backups that are occurring months later.
My Linksys router that I had for years and years finally failed, but it worked much better than Time Capsule before it failed. My recommendation to anyone reading this is to buy a regular router, and then just use a USB or FireWire hard drive for backups.
I haven't used the printer sharing features of Time Capsule, so I can't speak to that.

NETGEAR WG311T Super-G Wireless PCI Adapter Review

(More customer reviews)Just installed the WG311T PCI cards on two pc's connecting through my WGT624 and so far everything is great . Good signal and speed on both computers and no dis-connects . Iam pretty happy with my results todate .
But .......
IMPORTANT NOTE ON INSTALL WITH XP AND SP2 !!!
1.)If you use the Netgear application to monitor/manage your Wifi stuff then you MUST disable the "wireless-zero" in the "Adminstative tools" in the control panel for things to work correctly ( start/settings/contrpl panel/administative tools/services/wireless zero ; and put to "DISABLE"
2.)If you use WindowsXP to monitor/manage your Wifi , then you MUST disable the Netgear application (start /run / then TYPE IN: msconfig / then look in "startup"/ then DISABLE or UN-CHECK the line saying "GEAR 311T".
You must do one of the two items Ive listed to make sure your netgear Wifi works /connects properly (to the internet) . Seems you cant NOT use both applications together in anyway . Ive done ALOT of testing on this and this is the ONLY method(s) Ive found to work correctly (and this is not mentioned by Netgear or Microsoft) .

VIZIO XWR100 Dual-Band HD Wireless Internet Router Review

(More customer reviews)As Vizio products had the reputation for being the 'WalMart' of electronics, I was skeptical to try this router. I did some homework and found that others who had tried it were Very satisfied with it's performance. What better endorsement than that of a fellow user? So, since the price was Half that of the Cisco comparable - why not give it a shot. I had been using a Netgear wireless G and was having no problems. When I added a Sony HD TV and BluRay player, set up for wireless -- I began to have some stalls and 'waiting to catch up' times - especially on Netflix HD feeds. This Vizio dedicated the to 5.4 band Just for the HD video feed and has performed better than I Ever hoped.
Set-up was Out of the Box to Working in less than 10 mins. The interface is Easy to use. All my devices (3 PCs - 2 iTouch - and a Sony Dock - in addition to the TV) recognized and accepted the device immediately.
I would buy one again, and definitly recommend this to anyone wanting to watch HD streaming TV.
